Youth Fest for Life
November 2 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
FreeAs you can see from the attached flyer, this event will be both enjoyable and educational. Along with the poster contest, there will be fun games (with prizes) that educate the students on the developmental stages of an unborn baby. We will have a local Fire Chief introduce students to the Safe Haven Baby Box and representatives from a Pregnancy Resource Center to explain some of the services they provide, along with a video of a live ultrasound. The Pro-Life Wildcats from the University of Kentucky will be there, and the students will have an opportunity to paint a rock with their own message of hope to be placed at the KY Memorial for the Unborn in the Historic Frankfort Cemetery. All activities will be age appropriate, and lunch will be provided.
Our focus must be to educate today’s youth about the importance and value of all human life, created by God in His image. If we are going to proclaim God as our Creator and Christ as our Savior, we must respect and protect every single life that His Word teaches is fearfully and wonderfully made, knit together in their mother’s womb.
We hope you will promote the “Youth Fest for Life” to the youth groups in your congregation.
